Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Belonge collects when you visit or buy from www.belonge.co, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can have it removed. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

What we collect

Device information. When you browse the site we automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, referring pages, and the pages and products you view. This comes from cookies, log files and pixels, and it is what tells us the site is working and where it is not.

Order information. When you place or attempt to place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and payment details. Card numbers are handled by our payment gateway and are never stored on our systems.

Things you send us. Emails, WhatsApp messages, exchange requests, reviews and photographs you share with us, along with anything you type into the fit finder or the newsletter form.

Why we use it

To pack and deliver your order, take payment, send you tracking and invoices, arrange exchanges and returns, answer your messages, screen orders for fraud, and — only if you have opted in — send you occasional email about new products and restocks. Aggregated browsing data helps us improve fit guidance, sizing and the site itself.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make an order happen: Shopify, which powers this store; our payment gateway; our courier partners, who need your address and phone number to deliver; and Google Analytics, which shows us anonymised traffic patterns. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We also disclose information where the law requires it, such as a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our rights.

Cookies

Cookies keep your bag and session working, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the store will still work, but your bag may not persist between visits.

Marketing

We email you only if you asked us to. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Transactional messages about an order you have placed are sent regardless, because you need them.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law in India requires. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form only.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us from the email address on your order and we will confirm within seven working days. Deleting your data may mean we can no longer honour an exchange on a past order, since we will no longer have the record.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and payments are processed through a PCI-compliant gateway. Access to order data inside the company is limited to the people who pack and support orders.

Children

This store is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The version published on this page is the one in force, and material changes will be noted here.
